Jim Muirhead Jazz Quartet

By popular request Jim and his quartet are returning to play for the Saddleworth Concerts Society following their very successful debut with SCS in October two years ago. For this concert Jim has brought together three of the most sought after north west Jazz musicians. Richard Wetherall on keyboard is a jazz pianist, composer, and educator. He performs with his own trio and quartet as well as collaborating with many notable artists as well as teaching at Manchester University and Chetham's Piano Summer School. Ken Marley on bass also plays bass guitar and is a composer and arranger Ken has been a professional for over 40 year and is renowned for his CD Lookout featuring his trio in which Richard Wetherall was the pianist. Dave Hassell has over 49 years experience as a studio player, live performer, band leader and author. He has played with many of the leading UK and American musicians.
