Charlie Higson is an author, actor, producer, comedian and writer for TV, film and radio. His Young Bond and The Enemy series for teenagers have both sold over a million copies in the UK. In the 90s he co-created, co-produced and starred in the BAFTA winning sketch show, The Fast Show, with Paul Whitehouse. Charlie has written 5 adult crime novels, King Of The Ants, Happy Now, Full Whack, Getting Rid Of Mr Kitchen and Whatever Gets You Through The Night. He published his first adult James Bond novel, On His Majestys Secret Service in 2023 to coincide with the coronation of King Charles III. The follow up, King Zero is out in autumn 2026. In 2023 Charlie launched a history podcast about the British monarchy called Willie Willie Harry Stee, and the book of the series was published in October 2025. His books for younger children include Worst. Holiday. Ever, Worst. Superhero. Ever and the picture book, Whats that Noise? illustrated by Nadia Shireen.Charlie is an alumnus of UEA in Norwich, and in 2014 was given an honorary Doctorate of Letters by the university.This event is suitable for ages 12+Please note: refunds are only available if a show is cancelled or rescheduled, unfortunately booking fees are non-refundable.
