She first came to prominence as a DJ in 1989 as a resident at Londons fabulously outrageous and hedonistic Kinky Gerlinky nights - famously attended by the likes of Leigh Bowery and Boy George.
Decades on Julia - a fashion muse, artist and respected journalist - continues to make her mark on the underground dance scene, regularly headlining Fat Tony's Full Fat events.
