Tchaikovskys lyrical Variations on a Rococo Theme follows, featuring Joely Koos on solo cello, before Dvoks atmospheric Silent Woods. After the interval the concert concludes with Dvoks radiant and exuberant Symphony No. 8, a celebration of melody, nature and Czech musical character.
