10 Years of Sunshine Soul: Peven Everett (Live)

For more than 25 years, Peven Everett has been one of the unmistakable voices behind soulful dance music.Born and raised in Chicago, Everett’s musical language was shaped by jazz, gospel, R&B and the city’s house tradition, a combination that has made his work impossible to confine to any one genre.

As a vocalist, producer and multi-instrumentalist, he has built a catalogue that moves effortlessly between deep soul, broken beat, house, garage and beyond. From the timeless ‘Gabriel’ to decades of fiercely independent releases through his Studio Confession imprint, Peven has consistently followed his own musical instinct.

His unmistakable harmonies and musicianship have influenced dance floors and producers from Chicago, London, Detroit and way beyond. On this very special occasion, we welcome the Chicago icon to perform in London for the first time in three years in an exclusively rare and intimate live performance at NT Loft, Tuesday 27th October.Join us and experience the voice of a generation up close and personal for one night only.Presented by Sunshine Soul. This is an 18+ event
