A major new exhibition exploring the story of Titanic through 101 remarkable objects opens at The Kube, Leicester Racecourse, for a strictly limited run from 8 to 18 October.Titanic in 101 Objects brings visitors face to face with extraordinary artefacts, including an original Titanic deckchair, a cream jug from the ship's fashionable Caf Parisien and a carved section of wood believed to be the largest surviving fragment of the aft Grand Staircase. Displayed alongside them are dozens of personal belongings associated with Titanic's passengers and crew, each carrying an individual story of life aboard the ship. The exhibition follows Titanic's story from its conception and construction in Belfast to the splendour of its interiors, its maiden voyage, the disaster in the North Atlantic and the enduring legacy it left behind. Presented in detailed displays designed to reward close examination, the 101 objects reveal Titanic through the possessions people carried, the furnishings they used and the fragments that survived.Rather than simply reading about the ship, visitors can stand just inches from authentic pieces of its history, examining the materials, craftsmanship and surviving details that photographs and films can never fully capture.Carefully curated by White Star Heritage, the team behind a series of successful Titanic exhibitions across the UK.Please see theTitanic Tickets FAQs [https://www.titanictickets.com/faq/] for commonly asked questions.Ticket prices:Adult (15 and over) - 17.99
