Printmaking Workshop: Wood Engraving with Peter Collins

A workshop for beginners, and those with a little experience, curious to try the fascinating art of Wood Engraving, used since the 18th century for illustration.Come and work with highly experienced wood engraver Peter Collins and create an artwork to frame and hang on your wall, or send to friends as printed greetings cards.

Using the polished end grain of a small hardwood block, you will learn how to engrave a design of your own choosing, and then take some prints.

Suitable for adults (ages 18+).This workshop accompanies Print in the Park, an exhibition celebrating 20 years of Gloucestershire Print Coop and 25 years of The Museum in the Park.
