Peter OToole is a Dublin-born musician, songwriter, composer and producer whose career has taken him from busking across Europe at 16 to international stages with the Hothouse Flowers and collaborations with artists including Luka Bloom, The Waterboys, Ronnie Wood, Maria Doyle Kennedy andIndigo Girls.A founding member of Hothouse Flowers, Peter has toured extensively worldwide and contributed to some of the bands best-known recordings.
His work also spans film, dance, theatre, education and contemporary art, with collaborations including Fabulous Beast, Risn de Buitlar andMusic Generation Tipperary.A multi-instrumentalist with a particular love of bass, bouzouki, mandolin and traditional instruments, Peter continues to develop his own music and perform both solo and with Hothouse Flowers.
His solo work combines songwriting, storytelling and an eclectic instrumental palette, reflecting a lifetime immersed in music, travel and collaboration.
