Family Big Gig: Rockin' Christmas

A fun-filled festive concert for the whole family, with a rockin’ Christmas twist!
Join Musinc and Apollo Arts for magical sing-a-longs with a live band and lots of musical Christmas games.
This live musical experience is sure to get everyone singing and dancing merrily in a friendly, fun and safe environment.
You don’t want to miss this – it really is the most wonderful time of the year!
This event will include live BSL interpretation.

About Musinc
Musinc is the music engagement programme at Middlesbrough Town Hall. We offer a range of engaging musical activities including weekly groups such as Community Choir and Bandjam, as well as projects with local partners for people facing barriers. Our schools programme puts on engaging live concerts, big gigs and careers events that are also open to home-educating families. We also organise relaxed performances such as Classical Cafés, and opportunities for young people to perform live through events like Amplify. See more at https://musinc.org.uk
Access information
Our family event will have the following features:
• During the event, the band will invite the audience to stand if they can, dance and sing along. Young people can choose to opt in or out and there'll always be a quiet space available if the event becomes overwhelming
• A limited number of ear defenders are available from the Box Office – by the main entrance on Albert Street. See us as early as possible to secure a pair.
• Our spaces have consistent lighting, with low level auditorium lights on throughout
Pushchairs and prams
Due to Middlesbrough Town Hall’s fire regulation policies pushchairs, prams & car seats must be left in our dedicated ‘buggy parking’ zone on the carriageway and cannot be taken into any of the event spaces. Unfortunately, we cannot take responsibility for items left there, but we do our best to keep an eye on them.
