Handel's Messiah

Handel's Messiah isn't just an oratorio: it's practically a national institution.

Everyone knows the Hallelujah chorus, but there's much more to discover, with some of the most heartfelt and uplifting music ever written.

No Christmas is complete without it, and this performance sees the English Chamber Orchestra team up with baroque music expert Nigel Short and his famous chamber choir Tenebrae, plus some of the UK's finest vocal soloists, to recreate the grandeur, glory and pure inspiration of this best-loved of all choral masterpieces.
