Formed in Bologna in 2015 by Aldo, Blake, and Youssef, the trio have crafted a distinctive sound that now embraces Afro-Cosmic Disco, enriched by their acclaimed collaboration with international producer Gaudi.They have performed at leading festivals including Firenze Rocks with Red Hot Chili Peppers, Sherwood Festival with Seun Kuti, A Cielo Aperto with Kokoroko, and Tanta Robba with Nu Genea.

In 2025, Savana Funk expanded their international presence with a successful tour in Indonesia, a remarkable show at London’s ILMC, and a memorable performance at Sziget Festival in Budapest.In February 2026, the band released their new album “Behind The Eyes”, a work that marks their musical maturity.

The record is produced by internationally renowned producer Tommaso Colliva, known worldwide for his Grammy-winning work with Muse and as the creator of Calibro 35 band.
