TV comedy favourite Keeping Up Appearances , written by Roy Clarke, makes the transition from the small screen to the stage with its hilarious and eccentric characters including Hyacinth Bucket - who insists it is pronounced "bouquet" - the character made famous by Patricia Routledge.Hyacinth's brother, Emmet, is directing a play for the local amateur dramatic company who will go to extreme measures to keep Hyacinth out of it.Hyacinth, however, is showing her new painting Willow by Moonlight at the art exhibition at the same venue and, when she hears the part of Lady Malvern is yet to be cast, nothing will stop her.It may be necessary to change the location of this performance depending on the progress of our theatre upgrade works.
If this does happen, ticket holders will be advised by email.
