We will walk through the heath, stopping to sketch in a variety of locations while exploring its history and natural environment, thinking about the landscape as layers of history embedded within the ground.
Artist Sophia Shuvalova will lead this workshop where participants will engage with the location through drawing and mapping the area, looking at both the history and ecology of Mousehold Heath.Suitable for ages 8-14Sophia Shuvalova is a contemporary multidisciplinary fine artist currently exploring classical and folk mythologies using Old Masters drawing and painting techniques.
A Fine Art alumni from Norwich University of the Arts, Sophia regularly runs creative workshops and lectures in drawing.Please note: refunds are only available if a workshop is cancelled or rescheduled, unfortunately booking fees are non-refundable.
