Most of my writing is set in Suffolk, but Ive also lived in Luxembourg and California so both have influenced me, and found their way into my plots.As an ex-probation officer, I am naturally drawn to crime narratives, but from a perspective not usually seen in novels or on the screen. The probation officer exists at the most delicate places within the Criminal Justice System, sentencing & release, and I aim to show the challenges probation officers face daily through my protagonist Cate Austin.In conversation with Georgy Jamieson
