Scream at the Dean

Centuries of blood, betrayal and secrets are locked behind the stone walls of Dean Castle….and they’re waiting for you.Dare to embark on a journey into the darkest corners of the castle’s past. Hear tales of Kilmarnock’s haunting history, discover the ghostly legends and step into the eerie events hidden within the castle walls. Your guide will lead you through dark corridors and up winding staircases to uncover the curses, covens and chilling tales of the castle. And be warned, you never know what’s waiting in the shadows…Please note:Tours will take place in a dark environment with stories and surprises which some children may not enjoy. We recommend the event is suitable for over 12s.
Tours last approximately one hour. Please arrive 15 minutes before your tour start time.
Each ticket includes a token for a hot drink and sweet treat.
The tours are at allocated time slots however; the castle grounds will be open from 5:45pm – 10pm to enjoy our hospitality offer.
