Workshop: Willow plant supports with Jo Hammond

Make banded or spiral-weave plant supports for your garden in natural English willow.These lovely willow pieces are quick to make and so effective in the garden as plant supports or sculptural decorations.

Each design introduces different weaving skills all demonstrated in easy stages, step by step.Youll learn to select stakes and weavers, how to perform a randing or a spiral weave, and how to trim and finish your work.

Expect to make two plant climbers in the day.Note- willow weaving is moderately hard work and does require a firm gripTea/coffee and biscuits will be provided.

Please either bring a packed lunch or visit the on-site Tiptree Tearoom.The ticket price includes all materials and any necessary tools will be provided.
