What was it like to be poor in Victorian Newcastle? This walk examines the stories of five people living in 19th century Newcastle and how the experience of disadvantaged citizens has changed since then.The route is not suitable for wheelchair users but an alternative is to walk straight along the quayside and view the stops from the level ground.
