Get creative this Halloween at Scrappy Halloween: Make, Mend & Transform, a brand-new free making event at Edinburgh Open Workshop.Bring along an old Halloween costume to mend, transform or give a new lease of life, or delve into EOW’s collection of scraps and materials and make something from scratch.Turn old bedsheets into ghost costumes, create bat wings or cat ears, make spooky bunting, badges and reusable decorations, or experiment with the knitting machine to create knitted ladders and spiderwebs.There’s no set project to follow – just plenty of materials and ideas to get you started.

Come along, make, mend, reuse and see what you can create.No previous making experience is needed and all ages are welcome.

The event is completely free, but advance booking is required.
