During the day, you’ll be guided through the fundamentals of bezel (rub-over) setting — one of the most reliable and elegant ways to secure a gemstone. You’ll shape and solder a silver bezel, attach it to your pendant, and carefully set your chosen stone by forming the metal neatly around its edge. As you work, you’ll pick up core jewellery-making skills including saw piercing, soldering, texturing, filing and polishing.You’ll be able to choose from a curated selection of semi-precious cabochon gemstones, allowing you to design a pendant that reflects your own style.
