November Group @ Music on the Mezzanine

November Group is a string quartet, which was created to perform "Fragments In Time", a suite of compositions by Paul Research.

The suite is inspired by 20th century modern classical and synthesised music.

As well as the traditional quartet format, it also requires piano, found sound and spoken word intervention at various points.

This will be the fourth public performance of Fragments, which has previously been adapted as both an amplified version with spatial sound, and an entirely synth-based version.

The group consists of Paul Research (first violin and synth), multi-instrumentalist Julia Lee (second violin and piano), Taryn McCoy (viola), and Florian Polge (cello).
