Spectacular Jousting (Caerlaverock)

Visit Caerlaverock Castle for a weekend of medieval entertainment at the annual jousting tournament.

Support your hero as the daring knights battle it out in a dramatic show of bravery and skill and wander through the colourful encampments to experience medieval life first-hand.The event takes place outside the castle on the grassed area in front of the visitor centre and in the neighbouring field.

There is ramped access to the field.Limited accessible parking is available.During the course of public events we may take photographs and film for use on our website or other promotional material.

This would be done under the lawful basis of legitimate interests.

We will generally not look to take photographs or film individual children without your consent.
