About
The band calls its sound ‘Atlanticana’ - said with a smile, but it is the most accurate label they have found.
The band calls its sound ‘Atlanticana’ - said with a smile, but it is the most accurate label they have found. Americana warmth, British soft-rock craft, and a west coast country-rock lift that puts them in the same room as The Eagles, Tom Petty and The Band.Every song is their own. Chris Melhuish writes them; the band builds them out with layered guitars, keys and the close vocal harmony that has become their signature. The result is a set with real dynamic range - quiet enough to hold a seated room, big enough to close a festival stage. The band grew out of A Few Good Men, whose album The River remains on the streaming platforms. Since then the line-up has expanded to seven and the writing has sharpened across four albums, earning a reputation for tight musicianship and live shows that hold an audience from the first bar.Chris Melhuish - lead vocal, guitar, songwriter
