Tuesday 22 September
10am-4:30pm | 80 | Limited spacesThis is a great introduction to basketry for complete beginners and makes a good practice session for those with some basket making experience.
You will make a round basket about 10cm tall and 20cm diameter - perfect for displaying fruit.
Basket making is a fascinating craft involving many different techniques and yet using only a single material Somerset willow in this case. Keeping your first basket small gives you time to perfect each technique and really get to understand how a basket is constructed.
It makes for a very interesting day with the bonus of taking home a beautiful, functional object that youve made yourself.
Suitable for beginners and those who have worked with willow before.
All materials will be provided.www.judithneedham.co.uk [//www.judithneedham.co.uk]
