Emerging Showcase: Ami Alex + Ewan Sim

The Met’s regular night showcasing emerging artists returns with an evening spotlighting two exciting singer-songwriters.Ami Alex is a Lancashire-based pop artist and content creator known for her viral street performances and authentic connection with audiences on TikTok.

With over 280,000 followers across platforms, she has built a loyal and ever growing fanbase.

After leaving university in 2020 to pursue music full-time, her busking videos quickly established her as a rising online creator.

Ami has appeared on BBC Introducing Lancashire and in The Lancashire Telegraph, and has collaborated with brands including CBeebies, AllSaints and Blackburn Rovers FC.

Her single Satisfied reflects the raw, emotional storytelling that defines her evolving retro inspired-pop sound.Ewan Sim is a Manchester-based singer-songwriter whose raw vocals, heartfelt lyrics, and genre blending mixture of soul, pop, rock and indie has won him radio plays on BBC Introducing and BBC Manchester, and features in Clash Magazine and Louder Than War.His debut EP Sense Of It All was backed by Spotify as one of their Fresh Finds UK & IE (a playlist of 100 of the best songs by independent artists from the UK and Ireland) and was also added to the Amazing Radio A-List.Ewan has showcased at SXSW London and Manchester International Festival, and is supported by Adidas UK as a Factory Sounds 2025 Artist with Factory International Manchester.

He recently signed to Glastry Management, joining The Rolling Stones and Celine Dion on their roster.
