Aspire Community Jazz Band & Staffordshire Jazz East

Join us for an evening of vibrant live jazz as two dynamic ensembles come together for a special joint performance.Aspire Community Jazz Band, part of Lichfield Arts, is a welcoming and inclusive music project that brings people together to share the joy of making music.

Focused on participation, confidence-building and social connection, Aspire provides a supportive environment for musicians of all backgrounds and experience levels.

Under the direction of Musical Director Josh Clayton, the band celebrates the powerful role music plays in strengthening community and wellbeing.They are joined by Staffordshire Jazz East, one of the advanced ensembles from Lichfield and Rugeley Music Centre.

Led by Paul Bennett, this talented group of young (and young-at-heart) musicians represents Entrust Music Service Staffordshire, performing an exciting repertoire at prestigious venues across the county.

The Music Centre supports a wide range of ensembles for all ages and abilities, rehearsing weekly at King Edward VI School in Lichfield.Together, these two ensembles promise an entertaining evening showcasing the very best of community and youth jazz talent.
