Witchland: Recovering Suffolk's Civil War Witches talk

During the English Civil War around 30 Suffolk communities experienced witch trials, led by the witchfinders Matthew Hopkins and John Stearne.The witchfinders are famous, but who were the people they accused? Is it possible to recover information about their real lives, before someone called them "witch"? In this talk, Marion Gibson reveals new discoveries about three of the accused "witches", based on research in Suffolk Archives and beyond.
