Dear Evan Hansen

Following last years sell out run of, 'Calendar Girls the Musical', Newark Amateur Operatic Society are proud to present their tenth musical production at the Robin Hood Theatre, the Tony and Olivier Award winning, 'Dear Evan Hansen'.The story revolves around Evan Hansen, a teenager with a severe anxiety disorder, who has always felt invisible.

But when a sudden death shocks the community and thrusts him into the center of a rapidly evolving controversy, Evan is given the opportunity of a lifetime: the chance to be somebody else.

Evan gains popularity, love, and a new family, but must eventually confront the consequences of his deception.
