Candacraig are a duo from Lincolnshire, comprising of Sharon Cannings (Vocals, keys, mandolin) and Martin Nicholls (Electric and Acoustic Guitar, Cello), Specialising in cinematic anthems and dark twisted tales, they span rock and folk, to create their own form of neo prog rock.
In February 2025, Candacarig were delighted to hear that they had been voted the fifth best new prog act of 2024 by the readers of Prog Magazine in what transpired to be the largest poll the magazine had undertaken.
