Gallery Takeover: Map Makers

Take a closer look at the art around you, then create something inspired by what you find.

Inspired by the landscapes and terrains of Impressions of Light: Masterpieces from MuMa – Le Havre and The Bowes Museum, collect ideas and inspiration to use in creating your own map.

Consider the nature and terrain in the museum’s landscape paintings and put these ideas to use and become a map maker.This workshop for families with children aged 5-12 will start at Reception, before exploring the Impressions of Light exhibition, and then finishing in the Create Space.
