Dave Storey Trio

This longstanding trio, led by London-based drummer Dave Storey, returns following a short hiatus with a sound shaped by more than a decade of playing together.

Having recorded three albums and developed a deeply intuitive musical rapport over the years, the group moves effortlessly between driving bebop, lyrical ballads, and expansive modal and devotion-infused improvisation.Completing the trio are two of London's most distinctive and in-demand voices James Allsopp (Saxophone) and Conor Chaplin (Double Bass whose collective experience includes collaborations with artists such as Kenny Wheeler, Django Bates, Stan Sulzmann & Iain Ballamy.

Together, the trio brings a unique balance of spontaneity, interplay, depth, and clarity to a broad spectrum of the jazz tradition.
