Four good comedians are back on 28th of November with their final event of the year, and what a fantastic line up we have instore for you.Holding your hand and guiding you through the night will be one of our regular Mc Tom Evans. A dynamic stand-up comedian from Wales, known for his energetic performances and quick wit, often sharing humorous tales about the world around us.Once Tom has warmed you up and the drinks are flowing, our first act on stage is Phil Nicol, a Canadian comedian, singer-songwriter and actor. Nichol first found fame as a member of the musical comedy trio Corky and the Juice Pigs, known for the song "Eskimo". Nichol's 2002 Edinburgh Festival Fringe show Things I Like I Lick was nominated for the Perrier Award. In 2006, Nichol won the if.comedy award with a show titled The Naked Racist, which he performed at The Stand. After the break we will have our very own Miss Katie Gill taking to the stage. Katie has just finished her own show "Hot mess" which takes you on a wild ride that begins with a self-made promise and ends in a bar in Oslo with one burning question: how the f did I get here Katie will have you laughing from the rafters with some new material. And last but not least to end the show and the year will be non other than Steve Gribbin. Steve is a scathingly satirical Scouse song-thrush whose skilful skewering of topical idiocies has made him one of the most in-demand acts on the British and worldwide comedy circuit.Steve specialises in musical topical comedy, the more biting and bitter, the better.
He performs comedy songs in a dazzling variety of styles that always suit their subject matter, from the Prince-meets-Cardi B mash up of “Debbie Does Dishwasher” about Long Term Relationship turn-ons, to the 70s Power Pop Anthem to being an Embarrassing Dad “I’m Your Dad! (So Just Deal With It)”, or the mordant Folk of Jake Thackray in the tale of our tarnished football club owners, “The Taliban FC”, or the plaintive pop lament “Me And My A.I. Girlfriend”.Tickets on sale now online and at the Cafe, see you there!
