Drawing from Andean folk, Afro-Brazilian Baiao, Argentine tango and more, the band uses a colourful array of instruments including violin, clarinet, flute, guitar, percussion and bass complemented by expressive Spanish vocals.

Their energetic performances connect deeply with audiences, taking them on a musical journey across mountains, rain forests and bustling cities.Each member of Picaro contributes a unique musical background ranging from classical training to roots in folk and jazz, a diversity that allows the band to reinterpret traditional songs that honour South America’s cultural heritage – it’s passion, resilience and joy through music that transcends borders and brings people together.SEBASTIAN TESOURO – (violin, vocals, percussion) Argentine multi-instrumentalist performer and composer with 25 years of experience touring South America and Europe creating music for dance, theatre and film.BENJAMIN MODLEY – (guitar) Specialist in South American and Afro-Caribbean music.
