Lego Workshop

Everyone knows how much you can build with LEGO from castles to pirate ships, your imagination is the only limit.

But did you know you can also create printed art using LEGO? At this workshop, run by letterpress printer Dawn Hollis of the Crail Press, LEGO enthusiasts aged 6-99+ will have the chance to get their fingers inky and create their very own designs for printing on postcards.The Crail Press was established in 2018.

In her garden workshop Dawn creates printed material the old-fashioned way, using moveable metal type and historic printing presses.

LEGO printing has becoming increasingly popular in recent years and is a fantastic way to get hands-on experience with letterpress printing without having to spell words backwards!If your LEGO enthusiast has younger siblings, not to worry they are welcome to come too (with parental supervision) and play with Duplo for the duration of the session.
