Choral Perspectives - Dresdner Motettenchor

The leading German chamber choir 'Dresdner Motettenchor' performs at St Gabriel's as part of a collaboration with the London-based Joyful Company of Singers.Dresdner Motettenchor directed by Matthias Jung perform chamber choral works from across Europe by composers such as Schütz, Bach, Britten, Nystedt, Weelkes, Weismann, Becker, Saint-Saëns, Vasks and Pearsall.We are most grateful to The Dresden Trust - www.dresdentrust.org - for their generous support for this collaborative choral project.(Dresdner Motettenchor will also perform a joint concert with the Joyful Company of Singers St Saviour’s Church in St Albans on 24th October at 5pm.

Their programme ‘Choral Inspirations will feature British and German choral music including works by Byrd, Purcell, Schütz, Brahms, Parry, Britten and Vaughan Williams.
