Formed in 1991, the English duo Rag Mama Rag quickly made their reputation as one of the best country blues groups in Europe.

Formed in 1991, the English duo Rag Mama Rag quickly made their reputation as one of the best country blues groups in Europe.

With an interesting and wide range of instruments (Ashley Dow, vocals, acoustic guitar, National and Dobro guitars, Hawaiian guitars, ukulele; Deborah Dow, Harmonica, Washboard, other percussion and vocals) they play an array of American music from the 1920s, 30s and 40s encompassing different styles of Country, Blues, Ragtime Blues, Mississippi Blues and their own compositions.

Their repertoire is distinguished and very varied.

Since their debut they have recorded nine CD albums.Rag Mama Rag have shared the stage with several renowned artists, including Guy Davis, Procol Harum, Andy Fairweather Low (guitarist of the group Eric Clapton), Charllie Couture, Neil Innes (Monty Python and the group Bonzo Dog Doo Dah band).

After 30 years of touring they are still on the road and appearing at many big festivals in Europe.Doors open at 6:15pm.

Performance begins at 7:30 pm and ends around 9:45pm with an interval half way through.
