Under the batons of Donnie Deacon and MMus Conducting student Claudia Jablonski, the RCS Chamber Orchestra returns to the Stevenson Hall to perform two much-loved compositions.
Inspired by an excursion to the island of Staffa, Mendelssohn‘s The Hebrides, Op.26 is a sweeping piece that will transport you to the wilds and drama of the west coast. This evocative journey will be followed by Beethoven’s joyful and charming, over-looked gem, Symphony No.8, Op.93.
