Brass & Pipes': Howard Beaumont At The Mighty Wurlitzer With Stanhope Silver Band

Part of DURHAM BRASS FESTIVAL 20th Anniversary SeasonHOWARD BEAUMONTreturns to play the New Victoria Wurlitzer together with the musicians of STANHOPE SILVER BAND.

This combination brought the house down (almost literally!) with their mighty musical prowess at last year's Brass Festival and they are returning witha new programmeto entertain you.

Howard regularly plays theatre and electronic organ all around the country as well as enjoying playing with his own jazz group and during the summer months he plays every week at the Spa in Scarborough.The NETOA Wurlitzer is one of the largest and most versatile instruments of its type in Europe and has been extensively restored with the aid of a grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund.

Expect a wide variety of music - old and new, popular and classical.Tea, coffee, soft drinks and ice cream available at the interval.
