Joanne is currently exploring her practice off the loom, focusing on an appreciation of the natural world and the handcrafted using basketry, natural dyes, and other hand-skills-based techniques to create one-off pieces that celebrate the gifts of the land, the properties of plants, and the
innovation of ancestral craftspeople.
