Leicestershire's favourite vocal quintet perform beautiful madrigals and duets by, among others, Monteverdi, Orlando Gibbons, Thomas Vautor, Cipriano de Rore and John Wilbye, as well as solo songs and part-songs by Pierre Passereau, Henry Purcell, Charles Villiers Stanford, and Benjamin Britten.With the inimitable Chris Susans on lute and archlute, this promises to be a joyful musical evening to smooth the brow and soothe the soul.
