Kammer Philharmonie - Europa

One of Europe’s leading chamber orchestras, The Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen is known for its electrifying, collaborative performances.

Founded in 1980 by a group of music students, the orchestra remains musician-led, combining artistic excellence with bold, entrepreneurial spirit.

Now based in Bremen’s historic Stadtwaage, the ensemble performs internationally and is celebrated for its dynamic interpretations, especially of Beethoven and Mozart.

Under the artistic direction of Paavo Järvi since 2004, the orchestra has held residencies at major festivals including the Bremen Music Festival, Beethoven fest Bonn, and Kissinger Sommer.
