International Living History Festival 2027

In conjunction with our partners Ratcliffe's Heritage Events we are excited to host the International Living History Festival for a second year in its new home here at the Gunpowder Mills.In 2026 a bumper crowd enjoyed seeing over 40 groups from pre-history through to World War Two, representing nations including Poland, France, USA, Germany, Brazil and the UK.

Visitors enjoyed a diverse indoor and outdoor shopping village, vibrant arena shows and an exciting programme of talks.2027 promises even more living history and reenactment groups and more famous faces giving talks.
