This concluding performance brings together music, endurance, and pilgrimage, as the final stage of a 104-mile route linking churches and communities through live organ music.The programme features a 50-minute selection of major works from the organ repertoire, including J. S. Bach’s Toccata and Fugue in D minor, Widor’s Toccata from Symphony No. 5, alongside music by S. S. Wesley, Mendelssohn, and Vierne.This final recital represents the culmination of an ambitious artistic journey combining long-distance walking with a series of six live performances, celebrating both musical heritage and human endurance.A retiring collection will be taken, supporting the Choral Scholarship programme at Leeds Minster and the mission and ministry of the host church.Refreshments will be available.Support the Journey.
