Understanding Your Md - a Singing Workshop With Adam Boniface

The principle in this workshop is to understand what the Musical Director does, and how they work to get the best results out of their ensemble. The group will learn various techniques in warming up an ensemble, and how that relates to the ensemble work we do a in rehearsal. Basic conducting techniques will be shared (conducting in 3, 4, 6/8, giving the upbeat, volume and speed control etc). From that, we would then look to learn a small extract or two from the musical theatre world and give everyone the opportunity to lead the ensemble and direct the way they want.
At the end all techniques taught will be applied in singing as a whole group, led by Adam.
