Bsl Storytelling With Hazel Burns

Join Hazel Burns for a special storytelling event in English and British Sign Language (BSL) at the AK Bell Library.This event is suitable for children 7 and under.

Under-8s should be supervised by an accompanying adult.About HazelHazel is deaf and communicates by speaking, lipreading, and using Sign Supported English and BSL.

She has been the Senior Learning Resource Assistant at Perth High School for over 25 years, where she supports keen readers and encourages those who are less confident.

In her spare time, she has taught BSL and worked with the National Deaf Children’s Society.

Hazel enjoys reading, gardening, beachcombing and LEGO.

She will be reading and signing stories, so come along to enjoy the session and learn some BSL.
