Albanian folk songs add a deeply personal and regional voice, followed by the vibrant contrasts of de Fallas Siete Canciones Populares Espaolas.Italian opera and Russian romanticism appear through Verdis dramatic Preludio da I Masnadieri and Rachmaninovs expressive Op. 21 No. 7.

The programmes concludes with the unmistakable sound of Buenos Aires in Piazzollas Oblivion and the fiery Gran Tango!
