Preston songwriter Rich Chance doesn’t play many shows — but when he does, they’re a hot ticket. After two sold-out nights at The Continental and a debut album acclaimed by the Lancashire Post as ‘a masterpiece’, Chance brings his full live show to Lowther Pavilion.
Expect idiosyncratically brilliant pop tunes, projected visuals, and a high-class band complete with trumpet and saxophone. Influences range from Billy Joel and Bruce Hornsby to Ben Folds, Beck, Neil Hannon and Randy Newman — piano-led songwriting with wit, melody and lyrical bite.
