Damin Spritzer is Associate Professor of Organ at the University of Oklahoma, Artist-in-Residence at Cathedral Arts (Dallas), and the first American woman to record at Hereford Cathedral. The AAM Journal described her playing as "music that comes alive under her touch."
Packed with fireworks, her programme for this closing concert of the Cathedral Keys 2026 series is a celebration of American organ music, marking the 250th anniversary of the United States.
Philip Glass's mesmerising 'Dance No.4' features alongside George Baker's electrifying 'Te Deum' and two Scottish detours (Wilfred Emery, and the Skye Boat Song). Don't miss this truly sparkling series finale!
Part of Cathedral Keys 2026, a summer series at Glasgow Cathedral featuring three international musicians: vibrant talent for glowing summer evenings.
Catch the other concerts in the series!
Wed 3rd June - Daniel Carroll (USA): symphonic Ravel, Mendelssohn, Widor and Garūta, plus Olivier Latry Salve Regina featuring solo singer.
Wed 10th June - Riccardo Atanasio (Italy): his own transcription of Keith Jarrett's legendary 'Köln Concert' (1975) piano improvisation.
