Whether you are an absolute beginner or to brush up on your existing skills, this taught one-day workshop will offer you the opportunity to sketch a figure model using gestural drawing techniques in charcoal and chalk. Participants will then create a piece of work inspired by their morning sketches with the option to use other media. Suitable for all abilities. All materials will be supplied.
William Spurway is a professional artist whose interests centre on sea and landscape painting, drawing and printmaking. He is also an engaging and experienced teacher having taught these subjects for over 20 years.
Workshop starts 9.45 am and finishes by 4.00 pm.
Tea and coffee are supplied and lunch is available to buy from the cafe on Saturday.
