An expanded Lavenham Sinfonia celebrate big tunes and luscious orchestral colours, venturing into the world of cinema all within the historic setting of the amazing Lavenham Church. The centrepieces of the concert are performances of Korngold's Violin Concerto and Vaughan Williams' The Lark Ascending - both with returning soloist Mathilde Milwidsky.The orchestra will also perform film music by Moross (Theme from Big Country ) and Walton (from Henry V ), lighter music by Eric Coates ( By the Sleepy Lagoon and the Three Elizabeth's Suite ) and the concert ends with Richard Rodney Bennett's music from Murder on The Orient Express .Moross - Theme from Big Country
