Jazz, funk, reggae and South African influences blend in Deirdre Cartwright’s Picnic, coming to Lauderdale House as part of the EFG London Jazz Festival.Award-winning guitarist and composer Deirdre Cartwright is joined by trombone virtuoso Annie Whitehead, multi award-winning bassist and composer Alison Rayner, and Winston Clifford, one of Britain’s leading jazz drummers.Picnic’s music reflects a love of jazz mixed with funk, reggae and South African influences.
